Holiday Lantern Tours

Take a charming lantern-lit tour of the Village and visit the historic houses, delightfully decorated for the season. Experience the sights, sounds and flavors of the holiday season as celebrated in the 19th century Western Reserve. Afterward, join guests for holiday treats.

Tours depart every twenty minutes beginning at 5:40 pm. Dress appropriately for this indoor/outdoor activity. The tour lasts about 90 minutes.

Experience over 70 displays on Lakeshore Park’s 54 acres of rolling hills and majestic Lake Erie backdrop. This holiday light attraction with some displays “as big as a truck”, is great for creating family memories and family fun. Make it an annual family tradition to enjoy professional light displays in a beautiful picturesque setting.

Ride through the grounds of Spiegel Grove in a horsedrawn sleigh, as President Hayes did when he lived here. Rides are by South Creek Clydesdales. A horse-drawn trolley may be used in addition to our in place of the sleigh depending on demand and staffing levels. Cost is $3 per rider ages 3 and up. Rides are free for kids age 2 and younger. Rides are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations are taken. Sleigh rides can take place whether or not there is snow.

For more than two decades Cleveland Pops Orchestra with Carl Topilow has put on the best and most entertaining New Year’s Eve party in Cleveland. Year after year, Cleveland Pops puts on a spectacular show at Severance Hall, lighting up the stage with first-rate entertainment. The two-hour concert is followed by a fantastic party to ring in the New Year with dancing and fun. Couples can dance to two live bands located in both the elegant Grand Foyer and the spacious Smith Lobby.
