BUCKIN' OHIO PRO BULL RIDING SERIES
Saturday, August 26, gates open at 4pm
Celebrating the American Farmer

LOCATION: 8154 Garman Rd., Burbank, OH 44214

Buckin’ Ohio is proud to present our own brand of unique western entertainment this side of the Mississippi.  Be sure to bring the whole family out for a fun-filled time you and your children will never forget.  Every show is family oriented and provides an atmosphere where the old west on the ranch comes to life.

Buckin’ Ohio and Winkler Tire team up to honor the American Farmer. The American farmer plays an important part in the fabric of our American heritage and economy. I love the saying-“If you ate a meal today, thank a farmer.”

Many of the people who attend our events are involved in the agricultural industry, from dairy, produce, grain, and beef; as well as our sponsors who provide products and services to the agricultural community. We want to recognize them and say, “Thank You for all that you do!”

We are also proud to support our local Norwayne Future Farmers of America group (FFA). Our 50/50 drawing goes to them. These young FFA members also help with parking at Buckin’ Ohio.

Bull Riding, Barrel Racing, Mutton Bustin, good old-fashioned family friendly fun! Join us at the ranch Visit buckinohio.com for more details

Buckin’ Ohio takes place at Creek Bend Ranch, 8154 Garman Road, Burbank, Ohio 44214.  Adult tickets are $18 at the gate.  Gates open at 4pm, pre-show activities from 4pm to 7pm with Mutton Bustin’ registration at 5pm and the event at 5:30pm.  Pro bull riding show is at 7pm. For more information, call (330) 624-7205 or visit buckinohio.com.  So bring the family out and join us here at the ranch.

For Freedoms Town Hall Discussion: Freedom From Fear
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 17 | 3PM
For Freedoms, the first ever artist-run Super PAC, was formed to encourage art-based forms of political discourse and deeper engagement with the 2016 Presidential election. Founded by artists Hank Willis Thomas and Eric Gottesman, this non-partisan effort declares that art - in all of its forms of expression - is a political act in itself. For Freedoms seeks to expand the role of art and artists into American politics, and interrogate what freedom means today in the context of the four essential human rights that President Roosevelt cited during his 1941 State of the Union Address: freedom from fear, freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want. We hope you will be part of the dialogue.

December 2 & 9, 2017 – 6pm outdoors at the Main Stage

This beautiful outdoors event is a wonderful way to begin your Holiday Season. The gathering of guests near and far brings a special ceremony where you will experience the sound of choirs singing Christmas Carols, the reading of a Christmas story and the lighting of the Village Christmas tree. The program continues as an honorary candlelighter first lights their candle and then begins lighting others candles. As the flame is shared throughout the crowd, each candle is lit, and the guests join in singing "Silent Night", the sound is that of one heavenly choir. RENT - 20th Annuversary Tour

In 1996, an original rock musical by a little-known composer opened on Broadway… and forever changed the landscape of American theatre. Two decades later, Jonathan Larson's RENT continues to speak loudly and defiantly to audiences across generations and all over the world. And now, this Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award®-winning masterpiece returns to the stage in a vibrant 20th anniversary touring production. A re-imagining of Puccini's La Bohème, RENT follows an unforgettable year in the lives of seven artists struggling to follow their dreams without selling out. With its inspiring message of joy and hope in the face of fear, this timeless celebration of friendship and creativity reminds us to measure our lives with the only thing that truly matters—love.

THE HUMANS

Stephen Karam's The Humans is an uproarious, hopeful, and heartbreaking play that takes place over the course of a family dinner on Thanksgiving. Breaking with tradition, Erik Blake has brought his Pennsylvania family to celebrate and give thanks at his daughter's apartment in Lower Manhattan. As darkness falls outside the ramshackle pre-war duplex and eerie things start to go bump in the night, the Blake clan's deepest fears and greatest follies are laid bare. Our modern age of anxiety is keenly observed, with humor and compassion, in this new American classic that won the 2016 Tony Award® for Best Play.
